TURNING 65 SOON?
Your Medicare checklist starts here.
Most people have a 7-month Initial Enrollment Period that begins 3 months before the month they turn 65 and ends 3 months after. Active employer coverage can change the timing.
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 5 organizations which offer 28 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options.
Annual out-of-pocket spending on covered Part D drugs is capped at $2,100 in 2026. The voluntary Medicare Prescription Payment Plan can spread those costs across the calendar year, but it does not reduce the total amount owed. Plan premiums are separate. Last reviewed August 1, 2026.
April takes time to explain how coverage works, what questions to ask, and which details deserve a closer look. Product availability, eligibility, and benefits vary by carrier and state.
